Atlas updates, we have a new web portal, Stop the Bleed training, and an open house.

We’ve been busy, so busy we never put out a newsletter in March!  But we hope to catch up in this month’s newsletter.

Atlas has been unaligning instructors

Since the first week of April several instructors have been randomly unaligned from our Training Center.  Most with no notification to us or the instructor.

Conversely, we had instructors become aligned with us that should not have been (like, we had no idea who they are).  Atlas Support said this was a result of one of the updates that was made.

Please log into Atlas to check that you are still aligned with Coastal CPR & First Aid, LLC NH20943.  If you cannot find your alignments, click on the down arrow to the right of your name on the top right of your Atlas dashboard. You’ll see a link for ‘My Alignments’.  If you cannot see this link, or if your dashboard appears to be missing information – please email/call Gail at gail@coastalcpr.com or 603-834-3177.

Some instructors we were not able to send alignment requests to them to realign them.  If this happens, the Instructor will need to contact Atlas Support to be re-aligned.

Over the next few weeks we will be checking for who has dropped off our aligned instructor list in Atlas.  We have almost 150 instructors so this does take a little bit of time.  You may receive an email from Atlas to accept an alignment request from us.  If you do, please accept the alignment.

Atlas notifications

If you use Atlas Class Manager to advertise classes on the AHA’s ‘Find a Class’ tool, you may have noticed that information is missing from your Atlas notification emails and that you are receiving notifications to finalize rosters.  This includes notifications to finalize rosters that do not have any students registered to them.  Please feel free to call Atlas Support to file a support ticket on this. The more instructors that do, hopefully they will address the glitch sooner rather than later.

Some of the updates made have been helpful!  We have new forms linked in the PAM as well as updated information for instructor alignments and instructor transfers.

We have a new website for our instructors

While still a work in progress, we have set up a website to organize information for you.

The private page, Coastal Training Center Instructor Port has links to all the different AHA websites you may need.  Atlas, eBooks (streaming video), Training Central, and ShopCPR. There are buttons for uploading rosters and purchasing eCards.  All our newsletters and the ECC Beat newsletters are posted in the blog.  We’re currently adding content on different sites/vendors where Instructors can purchase supplies and materials.

Do you want to teach Stop the Bleed?

We have obtained an Educational Site License for Stop the Bleed.  AHA BLS Instructors can teach this program.  If you’d like to become a Stop the Bleed instructor please let us know so we can facilitate your training.

Open House 5/23/25 – Come celebrate our 5 year anniversary!

We’re holding an open house on Friday 5/23 from 11 am-6 pm.  We will have an open Zoom link during the open house.

Fun and informative things we’re planning:

• Equipment demos
• Training Center policy updates
• AHA Policy updates
• Reviewing resources available to instructors
• Stop the Bleed Training
• Answers to any questions you may have.
• Snacks!  Of course there will be snacks!
